Fillet of breaded cod

The cod fillet is homemade prepared, breading the fillet in a tasty breading rich in Sicilian flavor.
For the production are used Sicilian ingredients of highest quality, such as breadcrumbs, Provola Dei Nebrodi, Ragusano D.O.P. cheeses and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which give to the product an inimitable taste.
Later, the Fillet is cut down to -40°C to preserve all the freshness and goodness of the ingredients.

Ingredients

NORTHERN COD (*), durum WHEAT semolina bread crumbs (durum WHEAT semolina, water, natural yeast, salt.), Sicilian durum wheat semolina bread crumbs with yeast base (durum wheat semolina, water, yeast base, salt, yeast), extra virgin olive oil, Provola dei Nebrodi spun cheese (pasteurized cow’s MILK, salt, rennet), Ragusano D.O.P. spun cheese (raw cow’s MILK, salt, rennet), food salt (contains: anti-caking agent E536, may contain traces of sodium), black pepper. May contain traces of: molluscs, nuts, soya.

Cooking

To best enjoy the product, we recommend cooking it still frozen with ventilated oven preheated to 180°C for about 18-20 minutes or in microwave oven with “crisp” function for about 10-12 minutes. (Please refer to the manual of the microwave oven for cooking tips).

Conservation

The product is frozen. Store at a temperature not exceeding -18 °C. Properly preserved, it has a duration of 12 months starting from the date of production. It must be preferably consumed by the date indicated on the package. Once thawed, the product must be consumed within 24 hours. Do not freeze again.
